Done right, staging makes an emotional connection with buyers that encourages them to move from an online search to an in-person home tour and all the way to the closing table.
Staging helps increase the likelihood of selling your home. Even in tight markets where the demand for houses far exceeds the supply of for-sale properties and sellers seem to be in the driver’s seat, they still need to put their home’s best foot forward to set the stage for success.
True, staging involves time and money. More of the former if you do it yourself and more of the latter if you hire it out. But the National Association of Realtors found that staged homes sell faster and for more money than non-staged homes.
